Privacy

Camera

The live camera feed is processed locally in your browser. Only the photo you actively capture is transmitted for analysis. No video stream is recorded or uploaded.

AI processing

Captured images and ingredient texts are sent to our AI provider for analysis. They are processed for the sole purpose of producing the rating and are not stored by us.

Scan history

Your scan history is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time in Profile → Clear history.

Barcode lookups

Barcode scans query the public Open Food Facts database. Only the barcode number is transmitted.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
